2018 Global Stock Market Forecasts using Astrology

• North Node transited the mid of Leo singling the peaking of Global Market.  (late 2017)
• Starting 4Q 2017, Jupiter stepped into Capricorn, the territory where Mars and Pluto rule, singling the mix of boom and bust for 2018.
• In the Mid of 2018, The harmonic trine aspect between Jupiter and Neptune in Pisces might bring some unrealistic fantasy.
• 2018 4Q, Jupiter steps into Sagittarius amid North Node square Uranus. Confidence build at the time of highly fluctuation.
• Overall the market switch gear from bull to boom-and-bust, expecting the bumping ahead. 

McWhirter Theory of Stock Market Forecasting (cont. 1)

McWhirter developed a very systematic way to trade month pattern. You could easily employ those tactics to trade on the movement of index and catch the inflection point.

The first thing is the blank New York Stock Exchange Chart.  McWhirter put the M.I in Pisces 24.28 and ASC at 14.17.  The New Moon Chart predict the following 28 days movement.

Why and How it came out with this NYSE chart, it didn't mention at all. Some said it's the Natal Chart of NYSE (1792/5/17)

On May 17, 1792 twenty four brokers signed the Buttonwood Agreement which set a floor commission rate charged to clients and bound the signers to give preference to the other signers in securities sales. 

For the New Moon Chart:

1. Key Planets are those planets stay around the pivot.  Those planets in MI and ASC planets are taken into considered more serious than others. 
2. For the MI is ruled by Pisces and Aris, the ruler Neptune and Mars are taken into considered too.
3. New Moon (lunation) is a key point. 

 

The favorable and unfavorable among the aforementioned planets predict the up and down for the following 28 days.

Key inflection or VIX point would be that time when Moon transit through those critical points.

McWhirter used the method to tell the Black Friday Panic of 1869. On that month, the lunation was in quincunx aspect to Neptune in the MI (mid-heaven). 

As lunation occur conjunction or opposite to MI and forming aspects with planets within, there's always chaos, that's why stock market always have big flutation in April and Oct. 

The kind of method is hard to apply to other country. But you could also use NYSE index as leading indicator to other market and apply it as well. But I normally apply it in another way, use the Lunation time with the transit location to check the Lunation Chart. How is it working? I am still trying. 

The Lunation Chart in Taipei for the beginning of 2018 is as following. The favorable trine between Saturn and Uranus is departing and beyond the orb; the Lunation square North Node and conjunction with  Saturn. Looks not a good sign isnt it?

McWhirter Theory of Stock Market Forecasting

Some said McWhirter is the alias of W.D. Gann, a very famous trader back in early 1900s. I found the methodology McWhirter described is quite systematically logic and easily applicable.  I love the way it arranges the book with basic assumption then applies lots of empirical 100 years studies. Strongly recommend trader to get one and study to prepare for the year of 2018.

North Node is everything you should focus, the 18-year cycle foreshadow the boom and bust of the economic activities. Peaking in Leo and bottoming in Aquarian is the main idea. North Node's transit through every sign is considered the primary factor.

When I apply the theory to the latest 20 years. It means 1998 with peak and 2008 with trough. It do match the historical path. What's surprising is that 2017 is peaking as North Node stepped in the mid point of Leo.

What else might have material impact on the cyclical nature of economic activities?  Ans: The outer planets' favorable and unfavorable aspect with North Node and with each other.  This is considered secondary factory.

1. Jupiter (expansion planet) comes across with favorable aspects (0, 120, 60, 30) with North Node are always welcome. 
2. Saturn (constraint) and Uranus (chaos) transit with unfavorable aspects  (90, 45, 125) with North Node or with each other are bear sign. 
3. Saturn and Uranus form favorable aspects (120, 60, 30) can boast the market well. 
4. Pluto is considered powerful force. When it comes with favorable planets with favorable aspect (0, 120, 60, 30) can boost the market. But the unfavorable (0, 180, 90, 135, 45) aspect with Saturn, Uranus would cause trouble. 
5. Either Saturn or Uranus conjunction with Pluto are considered bad for the market. 
6. Quincunx (150 degree) is also considered unfavorable aspect. 

What's the empirical study for 2017? It's the typical bull sign of big trine among North Node, Uranus and Saturn. Now wonder how we luckily had a full pocket for the past year!

By applying the cyclical nature of 18 years long North Node transit and outer planets interaction, you can easily have a big picture of the movement prediction.
